A native to Birmingham, MI, I have always valued the importance of fitness, and overall physical well-being. From various athletics including baseball, track, football, and recreational weightlifting, I have always been active and worked to better myself and encourage others to do the same. I attended the University of Dayton where I earned my BA in Political Science and played Division I Football for the Flyers. Shortly after college, I enlisted in the Navy as a Search and Rescue Swimmer and was then stationed at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam from 2017-2021. Following my first tour, I began my next billet at Recruit Training Command, in Great Lakes, IL, where I served as Lead Petty Officer of the Curriculum, Instruction, Evaluation Division for the command, leading instructors in a rigorous syllabus delivered to over 41,000 navy recruits annually. At Recruit Training Command, I served as Command Fitness Leader by leading group physical training sessions and conduct semi-annual fitness tests for the command in order to ensure operational readiness of all staff members. I began my professional coaching at F45 Training Skokie, leading group fitness classes for those working to improve their fitness and well-being in a fun and exciting way. When my time in the military comes to a close, I endeavor to become a nurse in addition to fitness training, in order to positively impact as many people as possible while I can. Today, I am a Boot Camp Coach at Fit Body Boot Camp of Bloomfield Hills, MI as well as Personal Trainer at Anytime Fitness of Shelby Township, MI.
I believe that fitness need not be complicated. It can and should be a focus in every person's life. My philosophy includes the idea of "If not now, when?" The choices we make every day impact our longevity and well-being in the short and long-term. Its never too late, until it is. Take the leap.
